To produce Google Virtual Tours for NTUC Health’s Senior Daycare in Singapore which is published on Google Maps and their official website. The National Trade Union Congress (NTUC) Health commissioned The Red Marker to create a virtual tour for the Senior Daycare centres all over Singapore.
NTUC Health works closely with the Singaporean government to make high-quality care affordable for middle-income households. Their services for the elderly were introduced in 1997 and have now expanded to include daycare services, dementia care, and rehabilitation and physiotherapy.
The Red Marker designed a virtual tour that showcased NTUC Health’s Senior Daycare facilities and services. This tour allows users to go around the facility online, view the different service areas and learn more about the kind of daycare services they can avail themselves of for their loved ones. The tour is designed to be stand-alone and is easy to use when it is published on Google Maps and on the official NTUC Health website.
The Navigation Console sits at the left side of the screen and can be toggled on or off by the X marker at its upper right corner. The Console provides a list of the main areas of the Senior Day Care, allowing users to jump from one area to another by clicking on the name of the area.
The instruction screen is the first thing that appears once the webpage is loaded. The screen details how to use the controls and features to navigate the virtual tour on both mobile and PC. This provides more context for users of all tech experiences to have an easy understanding of their Google Virtual Tour experience.
Clicking on the “i” icon located around the tour will give you access to the Hotspots Content. These hotspots provide more information on the kinds of services NTUC Health’s Senior Day Care provides.
The upper right corner of the virtual tour holds the Dual-Language Toggle. Users have the option to enjoy the tour in English (UK) or Chinese ( Zhōng wén), allowing them to experience the tour in their preferred language.
