Matterport uses a state of the art technology to scan an environment and produce 3D dollhouse, floorplan and a measurement tool that is up to 99% accurate. These features are unique to Matterport and cannot be found in any other form of virtual tours at the moment. However, this also means that the interface is fixed, and we will not be able to customize and design one that is unique to your brand. This will be possible in a custom virtual tour platform such as krpano.
The time needed to scan a property largely depends on the size of your space but we can give you an estimated time once details and dimensions of your space are provided. Smaller spaces may take 1-3 hours while larger spaces could take up to 8 hours.
We mainly recommend Matterport for indoor venues as sun exposure can affect the scanned images. Most of the time, outdoor venues will be extremely hard to be included in the 3D dollhouse but the best workaround would be to include outdoor venues using the 360 photo feature in Matterport.
Your quote will be calculated based on the area size of your space as well as the design and layout. Our sales rep can provide you with a quotation once we have the size and floorplan. Any additional requests such as photo captures will be added as additional costs.
Unfortunately, Matterport do not allow any form of editing except for blurring in the software. We advise our clients to ensure the premises are prepared ready before our shoot commence. This means that any unsightly objects like bins, tissue boxes, or sensitive items like photo frames should all be hidden away.
No, any product produced using Matterport are required to be hosted on their platform. We provide Matterport hosting at an affordable rate.
